Max Garcia Conover's music is spunky, raw, emotional, and down to earth all at once. His greatest forte are his lyrics, which are so real that they hurt. Max makes each performance truly unique and personal for the listener.
the honeycreepers, a soulful duo, incorporates their life story of travel, exploration, and friendship, into their music. From Kelsea Burch's full vocals, and Matt Shea's Americana-influenced guitar mastery comes their bright and clear sound. A currently Connecticut-based band, this couple brings limitless energy to the stage.
Join us for these two fantastic performances on Saturday, June 10th!
Max García Conover is a songwriter & one-man band based in Maine. He grew up in Western New York and started writing songs while making his living as a busker in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2007. He's since put out new music at a furious pace while touring the US, Canada, Ireland, & Spain; playing 170 shows in 2015; sharing the stage with Justin Townes Earle, Lake Street Dive, Rising Appalachia, The Weather Station, The Dustbowl Revival, The Ghost of Paul Revere, Possessed by Paul James, Frontier Ruckus, and many others; and releasing a new song + video each week through Patreon.
the honeycreepers are the musical fusion of classical and musical theater trained vocalist Kelsea Burch and self-taught, experimental guitarist and vocalist Matt Shea. In 2012, while living on a farm in Hawaii, the duo began by sharing stories of their adventures and misadventures through music. As time passed and the scope of subject matter broadened, a new blend of acoustic tunes began to sprout from the rich soil of American music. A splash of funk, a dollop of folk and a heaping spoonful of soul help create their savory sound. Not to be missed are the rich, soaring vocals of Kelsea, the full, rhythmic guitar playing of Matt, and the chemistry between them that is the honeycreepers.
